DIY: Make your own liquid soap
Why make your own liquid soap?
The liquid soap recipe that Love&Soap is sharing with you today is much gentler than most commercially available soaps. You can create a completely fragrance-free version or add your favorite essential oils.
Plus, you can use this recipe as a facial cleanser. It removes makeup like a champ and even doubles as a natural shaving cream. So you're not just getting liquid hand soap, but three products in one in the same dispenser: space-saving and actually saving you money!
It's 100% natural and for good reason. No chemicals, no colors, no dyes... just pure ingredients. Safe for all ages.
This recipe is really great for sensitive skin, especially if you have to wash your hands frequently, which can cause them to become dry, itchy or cracked. Using a mild soap recipe that contains antibacterial ingredients is a great way to keep your hands clean and healthy at the same time.
Making your own hand soap doesn't have to be difficult, time-consuming or expensive!
The ingredients for making your own liquid soap.
First of all, please note that using effective and well-tolerated products is extremely important.
Buy each of them in bulk, the price will be reduced and you won't be buying more anytime soon.
- Castile Soap: Castile soap is a vegetable-based soap that is a staple in any home. It is incredibly versatile . You can even safely brush your teeth with it if you don’t mind the soapy taste.

- Honey: Raw honey (straight from the comb, honey that is neither pasteurized nor heated, so that it retains all of its benefits) is included in this recipe because it is particularly gentle and soothing on irritated skin.

- Almond oil: Helps dry skin to keep your skin soft and hydrated despite frequent washing.

- Essential Oils: Add about 8-10 drops of essential oils if desired. They add much more than just scent.
Really, the combinations are endless. It's great that you can create the scent you want, whenever you want.
If you choose to add essential oils to your liquid soap recipe, be sure to only use high-quality oils and remember to always do a skin test first.
The recipe for easy liquid soap!
- 1 cup liquid castile soap
- 3/4 cup honey
- 1/4 cup almond oil
It really couldn’t be easier. Simply measure and mix all the ingredients and pour them into a liquid soap dispenser with a pump. Since this formula doesn’t contain the chemicals that keep the ingredients suspended, you’ll notice a little separation. No problem! Just shake the bottle gently to combine them before each use.
Wash your hands as you would with any other liquid soap.
It's almost too easy , right? I think you'll not only love the soap, but also the fact that if you run out, you won't have to run to the store. Just refill your liquid soap dispenser!
Love&Soap offers you a wide range of liquid soap dispensers, with or without contact, to store your liquid soap and show it off.
The recipe for foam soap...
You use the same recipe but add two parts water to make it more fluid, but you will need to use a foam soap dispenser that turns the soap into foam without having to shake it. And yes, it is just the dispenser that does the job and not a soap recipe!
At Love&Soap, foam soap dispensers are available in several variations.
